Door Handle Replacement
I managed to break off my dang Door handle on my 96 F150.
I ordered a replacement part, but how intensive is it to replace the door handle? Do you need to remove the door panel, and if so, how is this done?
Apparently this is a common problem with this style door handle.

I am assuming you mean the interior handle? IF so all you have to do is remove the door panel and unbolt the old handle, then bolt on the new one. I used to work for a company that had an ambulance like that. We would have to replace it every month or so. It shouldnt take more than 30 minutes max.

I'm remembering that we had to unbolt the handle before the door panel. Nuts and bolts, go for it. Trick, we had to hold the handle in the open position for access.
