Default Does this tire need to be replaced?

The inner tread on my front passenger side is worn pretty bad. Alignment with previous owner must have been off. Is it ok to keep using it like this for a while? Have a road trip this weekend with the family. really not prepared to spend $1000 on tires right now if I dont need to

If it were me, I'd replace it.

I'd replace it. But if you can't right now, just make sure your spare is aired up and ready to go.

They say you can't buy peace of mind....but you can buy tires which will give you peace of mind.

BTW you asked if the tire needed to be replaced and two people said yes...but you already had your mind made up that they would be fine. So why even ask?

Since asking I had spoke with someone at a tire shop and they thought it should be replaced but thought I would be fine for the weekend which was my main concern.

Replace it as soon as possible. Rotate it to the rear axle in the mean time.
