Default Does my Transfer Case need to be grounded ?

Hello to all;
I've got a 94 F-150 XLT 4 X 4 with a 5.0 Auto Trans with electronic push button 4x4 controls (manual lockout hubs though).

Does this transfer case need to be grounded to the frame ?

Thanks in advance.

Technically no, although it is via the transmission/engine. The shift actuator carries its own ground wire in the plug.
