Default Dealerships in same states?

Do Ford dealerships in the same state usually charge the same price? I was given 2 quotes by 2 different dealerships for the same work. One was 150 or more than the other.

Have them break down the estimate for you, labor rates could be different, parts should be the same unless the higher quote included some kind of upgraded service.

Well I had a spit out spark plug replaced at one Ford Dealer about a month and a half ago. Thought the price of almost 490 was outrageous. So I call a dealership closer to me. They quoted me around 250. Called back the dealership I had it fixed at and didnt tell them I had already had it done. Asked them for a quote and they say probably around 400. I said I already had it done there. How come I checked a closer dealership and it is so much cheaper. He claims he didnt know and it may have been how Ford pays their dealership. I call bull on that one.
