Hey everyone! I have a crazy loud obnoxious vibration/howl/growl/ will scare the **** out of passengers noise coming from my truck. The weird part is its only while decelerating from 77mph-71mph. At all other times truck drives perfect.
I thought it might be my over drive gear grinding, but sped up to 80 and put in neutral to coast the noise was still there.
-Checked u joints, front one is a little lose, but not bad, and sound is way worse then the u joint problem videos on youtube.
-Driveshaft appears to be ok, no noticeable damage or dents.
-Alignment is awesome & tires are less then 10k old.
I do have a 2" leveling kit and run 35" tires but don't know if that makes a differemce
No idea what it can be. Any help on what it could be would be greatly appreciated

Have you checked your rear diff fluid? Pullled the cover to see if you have any debris? What part of the truck is it coming from?

I'll check the rear diff fluids tonight. The sound is coming from underneath the cab area.
