crank no start Victim No 2
Ok, 1994 F150 5.0 long bed dual tanks.
I was having issues with the front tank, running badly, it would sputter, if you goosed it, and finally it just quit altogether. I also noticed fuel leaking out of the forward end of the front tank. so I decided to pull it to see what was going on. Once the straps were loose, i noticed a small hole that had rusted through.
I ordered the Specrta 19 gallon with the fuel pump already installed,
Once installed, I added 5 gallons of fresh fuel and tried to start. no luck, I turned on the ignition a few times, to get the fuel top side, still no luck.
next I opened the schrader valve, while a #2 turned the key on (to engage the fuel pump) bubbles, bubbles, bubbles, finally fuel, lots of fuel.
still wont crank, finally I replaced all the plugs. still nothing.
new fuel tank
new fuel pump (fuel sending unit)
new fuel filter
new plugs.
I have tried so many times to crank I killed the battery, now on charge.
tomorrow Ill replace the distributor cap and rotor.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
