Default Couple of tubes not attached

So I was wondering what a couple tubes and lines were doing disconnected and what they were originally connected to, it looks like they should be connected to something. I'm not sure if this is the issue that is causing my 4X4 not to engage but I'll be testing the vacuum IWE soon enough. Here are some pictures of the tubes/lines that are disconnected:
Vehicle: 2004 Ford F150 Lariat Triton, 5.4L V8 4X4
(Sorry for the engine being dirty, need to powerwash)

Engine compartment

The side where the hoses/lines are disconnected

First tube that is not connected

Zoomed in photo

2nd line that is not connected

Another picture of the line

Another hose picture

So what do you guys think? Where do you think these extra hoses go? I'm going to be very busy the next couple of weeks but I'll try to be on top of this thread. Thanks!

It's essentially a vacuum (IWE Solenoid) which allows the wheels to freewheel (2WD) or engages the locking hubs (using suction? or the opposite) which enables me to have 4WD. I was hoping if anyone could take a look at their trucks and hopefully identify what the tubes/lines are, if anything. But I'll have to look into it sometime.

Default Couple of tubes not attached

First one (the one bent and strapped) is your front axle vent. Second and third ones are your IWE actuator vents. They are supposed to be open.

The second one and third ones you are referring to is the same tube but different angle. Does that make a difference? Is it still the IWE actuator vent(s)?

I see. Nope, doesn't make a difference. You'll find another one on the passenger side for that side IWE actuator. I thought you had a picture of the passenger side one for some reason.

Ok, sorry for the confusion. Thank you so much! I'm going to look into the 4x4 diagnostic thread soon enough. Thanks!
