Default Brake Pads

Ceramic work good once they heat up to work like they are suppose too, but thats the problem. If its a daily driver then I would stick to stock pads. If you only have to drive a couple of miles to work then the pads dont heat up enough to work properly, but once they heat up they work great...

I get a kick out of the reaction I got when I purchased the first set of pads for the front brakes on my truck. The guy at Checker was going to sell me the cheapest pads. When I told him I wanted the best pads he had, which where just short of $50 bucks, he looked at me like I was from another planet.

Ceramic pads with my experience are much better, less dust, garunteed not to squeal and a little bit more friction. You pay for it when you make the swap but I l wouldnt worry about it til you need new pads.
