Can't get gas nosle won't go in tank!?
I have a 10 f150 and it is one were there is no gas cap and when I went to get gas I stuck the nosle in but it wouldn't go in. If I wiggle and hit it is will pop in but it takes some force. What is causing that?

Couple things ...
1) their pumps are old..and don't follow federal specs
2) were you using a gas can? if so you'll need to use the provided white funnel in the truck (by the spare tire iron).
3) is it only this gas station?

Every new vehicle since the early 90's, including your truck has a restricted opening on the fuel tank. The opening is sized only allowing you to put unleaded fuel into it. There is also a small trap door on a spring that is a part of this assembly to help prevent back splash when the fuel nozzle is removed. I would suspect this trap door has been either bent or slipped out of place blocking the fuel opening. It may require removal of the filler neck from behind body to repair it. Is the truck still under warranty?

Always a FordMan
If the gas entry is screwed up it MAY be covered under the emmissions warranty. It May be part of the evaporative emmissions. All they can do is say no as it doesnt hurt to ask.

Could be true. Many vehicles were required by Fed Law to go 10 years 100,000 miles for emissions equipment. Good call

It could be something as simple as a twisted gas hose. I'm talking about the hose that runs from the external fill point to the tank. Mine was twisted, and after a slight turning to straighten it out, the problem was solved.
ETA: OOPS! Didn't read all of OP's post. Should probably replace filler neck assembly.
