Default A/C problem

I have a 2001 F150 with 5.4 and when I punch it with the AC on it goes to the defrost then comes back to the front vents. Has anyone ever had this problem?

You have a vacuum leak. Check the hard black plastic lines that run behind the battery, most times battery acid will over time eat away at them.

I just check and can't see any black lines, do you have a picture?

No sorry i don't, follow the vacuum lines that come off the engine and go towards the firewall and fender. You will know it when you find it.
