Default A/C blower motor resistor help

I have a 99 F-150 and the fan speed only works on high. I took it to Pep Boys and they wanted to charge me $130 to replace it. I found the part at NAPA for 29 bucks. I was able to locate the resistor behind the dash on the passenger side. My question is how do you get to it to replace it. I just got lucky finding it by sticking my head up under the dash and finding the 2 screws by feel, but I cant see it. There has to be an easier way to get to it. Appreciate any help I can get.

Disconnect the electrical connector and use an 8mm socket with an extension on the two screws. The resistor will come out easily enough, but it is an awkward spot to be bent into. If you have a good light and a mirror you can see what you are doing.

Thanks for replys... I got the part at Ford for 20 bucks. But I am having one heck of a time gettin it in, I tried the mirror part but as soon as I stick my hand up there the view is blocked. If I take the glove box out how much do I have to remove? I dont want to dismantle the whole dash. HELP
