Thanks for all the replies but it was a rookie mistake! autozone gave me the wrong side caliper and i just didnt think to check because they assured me it was the correct driver side caliper. Then the shop i took it to after i couldnt get the air out didnt even catch it. Finally after looking online forever i realized the bleeder was on the bottom of the caliper. I called autozone back and the guy said its the same caliper driver and passenger side so i went up there talked to a manager and they swaped it for the correct side. put it on, rebled and perfecto.

I keep hearing the same sad stories about autozone.
Sounds like everyone needs a new supplier.
We have equally incompetent parts people here as well,.....just got to go knowing exactly what you want and what it looks like. I always double check parts from a few different suppliers to ensure that they got it right.
I was looking for tranny fluid today at Crappy Tire and couldn't find the right one. There was a automotive clerk right next to me, so I asked him if he had the right fluid. He asked me what it was for and then said...Yup, here you go and handed me a jug mobil Ford fluid. I read the back of the jug and guess what.
Well..it could of been someone who didn't know any better and would've put it into their tranny.
It makes me nuts!!
But I digress..

It not only sucks autozone gave me the wrong part, but also the shop that I took it to could not even identify the problem and told me my master cylinder was out! I definatly learned I need to double check everything and pay more attention next time.

It's your truck!.....The clown at the express couldn't care less about what happens to you after you pay and drive away. He will not be inconvenienced or have to fork out the cash to repair any damage done to your vehicle. The worst thing he'll have do is maybe find another crappy job.
Bottom line, ....you are quality control for your ride. It's worth the extra effort.
