Hey guys, I posted something similar to this on another thread already, but I figured the maintenance section was a better bet. I'm looking at a first truck. It's a 2001 f150 sport 4x4 with the 4.2l v6 (had an opportunity to buy a '94 with 300i6, but it was 2wd. Not the best for upstate ny snowfall). Now I have two questions. First, the bed and the door aren't exactly flush. The cab is 1/2 - 3/4 inches lower than the bed (even on both sides) The frame is rusty but it still seems solid. What else could cause this? Also, how is the engine truck combo? (Commuter / light duty - think firewood or camping/hunting stuff.) any help is appreciated. Thanks!
