I have a 1997 f150 with a v8 and 195K. It has developed an oil leak in the head gasket. Do any oil additives work at slowing the leak?

im in the same boat at you...i have small head gasket leak that isnt bad...meaning it doesnt leave oil spots on the ground yet...but my mechanic told me to try bars stop leak oil additive and said that he has heard from customers that it does work, u just have to drive the truck for 300-400 miles b4 the sealant works...good luck man
