back running lights wont work

back running lights wont work
Howdy all,
I have a 94 F150 with the 5.8l engine. I'm having some problems with headlights/rear running lights I wanted to share with you all to see if anyone has seen this issue.
To start with, I've changed the headlight switch and the connector to it. The problem hasn't changed so I'm assuming those two items are not the problem.
When I pull out the headlight **** all the way (for headlights) my headlights turn on but my back running lights do not. If I start to slowly push in the **** (not enough to get to the middle stop) the headlights turn out and the back running lights turn on.
If the **** is in the middle position (for running lights only) I don't get any lights.
Anyone seen this before or have any tips where to go next since the switch and connector are new?
