Default automatic locks help

about a month ago both of my automatic locks on my 1999 f150 stopped working. When you press lock/unlock nothing happens, I checked the fuse like 3 times, and its not the fuse. I dont think its the lock motors since they went out at the same time. the automatic windows still work. any ideas?

my 99 f-150 is currently having the same problem. my fuses were also good. i talked to a few guys and they told me, that if one of the solenids go bad, it could short out the other one some how. i just bought a replacement for both sides. i will let you know if it fixes the problem

well, i replaced both door actuators/solenoids and guess what! it didnt fix the problem. So i gave up and took it to the dealer. The dealership charged me 106 bucks to troubleshoot the system, at which point the tech. guy told me that the actual switches were bad and needed to be replaced. 85 dollars per switch x 2 switches plus the initial money. Switches came in i put them in cause i didnt want to spend another 100 dollars, and they still dont f***** work! man i went back to the dealership and destroyed everyone i thought might work there. Then i found out that the tech wanted to put the switchs in because there is a loose ground in the wiring some where. So instead of just fixing that and not ripping me off. man i am so angry. sorry venting... ya i will let you know what wire it was once i find it and fix it.
