antifreeze in sparkplug well
98 f150 4.6L triton 256K on motor. i keep getting anti freeze in the rearmost plug well on the passenger side 2 different licenced? mechanices have looked at and can not tell me why. the anti freeze builds up and i wind up changeing that plug. not good for the wires and it takes all the extentions i got and 2 nuckle to pull that plug. any ideas?

The heaterhoses on the back of the engine are leaking slightly. I have replaced alot of them for this same problem. With all those miles I would replace ALL the hoses.

coolant in plug hole
I had this happen on mine. my wrench says common problem on these. There is a coolant hose that runs right over, or close to the hole, the clamps loosen or the hose leaks and there you have it. Look real close, you'll find it.

What would cause coolant to pool around the plug (in the plug well) for the #6 cylinder?
I don't see any leaks.
Mine threw a P0306 Cylinder 6 Misfire Detected and a P0113 Intake Air Temperature Circuit High Input code and the CEL light came on.
right now it's hesitating and stumbling
I'm going to pull the #6 plug to see if it's fouled.

water plug
I had the same thing happen to my 98 4.6, number seven plug fouling out. Code checked to confirm. changed plugs later the same plug fouled out. Turned out to be a head gasket.
With the overhead valve situation mechanix said it would cost around 700 dollars a side to fix.
Older truck was not going to happen. I put block seal in it ran it for 2 months with it in. took it out, replaced with coolant, have not had a problem since. And just before I did this it was getting really bad, smoke pouring out.
One thing I wish I would have done, when I did this was to by pass the heater core while block seal was in the engine,
The block seal for some reason clogged up my heater core and while the heater still worked it never was as good as it was before, did not get as warm. It did not affect the radiator.
Just a thought,
