Default Another brake issue

All,

I am new to this forum and I am looking for help and ideas

I have a 1999 F-150 2wd, nothing fancy well maintained. I replaced the rear brakes about two month ago new pads and rotors. Since then I have had a problem with the left rear brake, it seems like the e-brake is on and it is not. I was directed to replace both rear calipers and the left rear rotor and pads and then bleed the system.

Any ideas, before I go and buy parts. I have replaced these brakes in the past and all has worked well

take that left rear caliper off and make sure the piston moves freely, if not thats prolly your issue. otherwise take the rotor off and check that the ebrake cable/shoes are also moving freely. do you notice smoke coming from there while driving? when you jack it up and try to spin the wheel does it grind? wheel bearing possibility. check all aspects of that corner of the truck before you go spend all that money on parts you dont need

E-brake shoes inside the rotor are hung up. You only did half the brake job. Pull BOTH rotors and replace all the drum brake shoes and hardware for the E-Brake. Good luck.

Thank You for your suggestions I have never been much of a drum brake repair guy. Maybe this is my chance.
