What do you mean? There is lots of reference points, the heater hoses, the a/c box. This is what I meant, if you can't identify basic parts then you're better off letting somebody else work on it who knows what to look for. At least you figured it out, kinda what I thought. When you start messing around with something on the truck and aren't careful you end up breaking or messing up stuff. The radio is so close to the climate controls I thought you may have pulled it off but under the hood was easier to check first, at least for most people.

there was nothing that looked out of place under the hood, that's why I was so confused. I had tried looking behind the climate ***** before, but didn't want to fuss with taking the radio out, you know, those "theft prevention measures." Funny thing is, the right allen wrench works just as well as those fancy radio removal tools.
