Air conditioning - Stuck ON!
1999 Ford F-150
The air conditioning appears to be stuck on; cold air always flows. All positions on the climate selector release cooled air, including "outdoor vent" settings. Heat still works.
Has anyone ever had experience with a similar problem?
Selector switch/wiring issue? or air conditioner pump-clutch failure?

When turned to cold, or always-always?
I had this "problem" when going from a '95 to an '03. Got as far as the wiring diagram when I discovered that the A/C system gets power in all positions but OFF, so it's somewhat by design. I plan on modifying a second HVAC control unit I have so that the AC is off in all positions but the AC and defrost ones.
