Default Additive put directly into degas bottle

Hello:

In preparation for doing a coolant change on my 2007 F-150 (5.4), a couple of days ago I added a container of Prestone Flush + Cleaner directly into the degas bottle (and have driven the truck since then). But, after doing so my thought/concern is: will the additive actually end up leaving the degas bottle and mix in with the coolant in the radiator and block? Or, will it just sit in the degas bottle unused?

Thank you for all of your help with this.

Default

I drained out all coolant, flushed with water, added two bottles of the Prestone flush and followed the instructions, water flushed again, then refilled with coolant / water.
