Default 97 F150 Squeak in rear end!!

I have a strange squeak in the rear end, seems to come from the driveline, but only squeaks when truck is moving in reverse!!! It started right after a very heavy haul. u joints seem fine, no play. seems suspension related, when i stand and bounce on the rear bumper, the squek seems to come from the rear ujoint area of the driveshaft????

Sounds like a dry u-joint, It can be tight even if its making noise. If its not that its the leaf springs. Spread the springs with a prybar and put some lube between them and see if the squeak goes away. If it does then replace the plastic spacers between the springs.

I like NGM's idea. When in reverse the rear end torques in a different direction than forward. Try the lube first, then pull the U-joints apart and inspect, repack or replace.
