Default 96 il 6 problem after thermostat change

I posted in the pre 97 boards, but I also figure that I could get a broader response here as well. Sorry if I bug anyone. I have a 1996 inline 6 that I just changed the thermostat and now I am getting a misfire .It was running fine before the thermostat change, and the plugs and wires were changed with Motorcraft items approximately 2,000 miles ago. The truck has 118,500 miles on it. I traced 2 small leaks on a couple of hoses and fixed them, yet it's still running bad.It idles choppy sometimes, and during acceleration it chugs and tries to bog down. I have no other solutions. Any ideas/ suggestions would be greatly appreciated and helpful. Thank you for your help my fellow Ford owners.😊

Check the plug wells for coolant..may of gotten wet during the leak or T-stat swap...then fouled a plug.
