92 F150 302 has trouble starting
My 92 F150 302 has been a great truck. It has 182,000 miles but has trouble starting. Sometimes it starts right away and sometimes it cranks but will not start. A couple of times after started it would die. I have replaced the AIC and have tested the ICM which tested fine. Need help Thanks.

Is there a rapid clicking sound associated with it not starting and you lose your radio presets? My 96 F150 did this just last week. I had to get a new starter. Now it's as good as new.

I do not think it is the starter. I have 2 fuel tanks. When I turn the key to the on position I hear the fuel pump prime for 2-3 sec. and the truck fires up. But sometimes when I turn the key to the on position the pump will prime continuous. I wait 10 sec while pump is still priming try to start and it will turn over fine but will not fire up. It doesnt matter which tank I am using.
