90 F150 4x4 turn signal blows fuse
Having problems with turn signals on 1990 F150 4x4. Blows fuse immediately when installed. Turn signal lever is in neutral position. 4 way flashers work OK. Trouble had been intermittent, but now on solid. Anyone had this problem? Sure would appreciate any help or even if you could direct me to a downloadable wiring diagram. thanks ever so much.

When I meter the fuse terminal, the opposite one from the battery, I read almost a dead short to ground. Trying to get a wiring diagram, but so far no success.

I finally located the problem. The fuse also powers the backup lights and everytime I put the vehicle in reverse it blew the fuse. I pulled the backup light wire off the transmission and everything works fine. Will have to get a new switch for the transmission.
