3.5 ecoboost making oil
#51
So it's been three weeks and a day since I got my truck back. The oil was holding steady right at the half way point (right at full if it's still warm). I checked it today and it did rise ever so slightly but is still below the full mark. It's about 3 quarters of the way in the "good" range. I believe they performed tsb 15-0003 but I'm not 100% sure. They never sent me the papers of what they did to it like they said they would when the file was closed out with my warranty claim (whatever that means). Anyways, it did rise a little but is rising very slow compared to how fast it was rising before. Hopefully it doesn't go over the full mark again.
I read somewhere (can't remember where) thaw another person had this same TSB done but it kept rising so they had the fuel injectors checked and a few of them had to be replaced and the others reseated. Should I have mine checked or should I just keep monitoring it and call it good as long as it doesn't go over the full mark?
Thanks for any feedback.

Fuel in the oil dilutes and hurts the lubricating effect of the oil. Call the dealer tell them what's happening and what you've had done and they need to keep investigating. Otherwise your long term durability is shot.
