From my chair here, I'm leaning towards a PCV system malfunction?

If it was fuel or coolant raising the oil level and they checked for that, it should have been noticed.

Good luck, hope it's resolved soon.
Nope, he said there was a TSB on the spark plugs and changed them after the misfire and that's the only time I've had a check engine light.

They said a valve was sticking and pushing gas fumes into it and replaced it. Around a week later I had a misfire and check engine light when I floored it. The next day the TSB said to replace the spark plugs and they did that. About another week later (today) I checked the engine oil again and now it's over full again. I am taking it back tomorrow to have it looked at again. Luckily I was smart enough to buy Certified Pre-owned so all of this is costing me nothing to have fixed. Anyone else have problems with their 3.5 making oil? What could be the issue here?
So the dealership said they ran all these tests and after a week and a half told me there was nothing wrong with it and treated me like an idiot who didn't know how to read a dip stick. Well guess what? I read the dip stick again today, about 2 weeks after getting it back, and it's rising again and SMELLS LIKE GAS! They told me nothing was getting into the oil and nothing is wrong with it. I'm so pissed off right now!

Might want to take it somewhere else, because one thing is for sure, if gas keeps diluting the oil the way it is that engine is not long for this world.

Are you pulling the dipstick out and checking or are you pulling it out and wiping it then putting it back and pulling it out to check it, sounds dumb but thats how you check the level on these engines.

Really?! I had no idea! I always that you checked it by shoving your finger into that tank of orange liquid and tasting it.

Did you read my whole post, I was trying to help, some people don't know and just pull the stick out and look. But I guess you know it all.

Good luck.

I honestly cannot name one person who doesn't know how to check a dipstick.

Its clearly defined to pull the stick out, wipe, stick back in, pull out and then that is the level, where as pulling it out and looking would give wrong level, I said that because some people do that. I noticed this especially on my truck.

You asked if I was doing that. I would hope the mechanics at the dealership did that. The ones I was talking to do. That would make for one sorry mechanic if they couldn't even read a dipstick right. Lol

This is an extremely well known issue.... Fuel pump is leaking... a super fast search on this board, the other f150 board or google would have pointed to it immedately... If you decide to do all of those things and print them up,
go back to the dealer they will fix your issue...
