2014 4x4 f150 front tow hook question
I have a 2014 f150 4x4 and have just acquired a front bull bar. My question is ive heard to not take the back tow hook all the way out because it can not be screwed back in once out. The way my brackets are they can't be put over the bracket then tightened down. Both bolts will have to be completely removed then re installed. I know this is kind of a dumb question but would be nice to know before I go through with it.

You can put the tow hooks back on if you completely remove both bolts. You just have to keep track of the metal piece that rides inside the frame rails. I took my tow hooks off when I had a fender bender and replaced my front bumper with the fab fours one.
Technically you don't have to unscrew two of the 4 bolts that hold the tow hooks on since two go through and two just pinch the hooks to the frame, but if you need to pull them all the way out to mount your bull guard you could easily reinstall them.
Picture below shows with bumper removed and you can see the bolt attaching to the bracket that rides in the frame.
Since you aren't going to be removing your front bumper be really careful when you start the bolts back in so you don't move the metal anchors that sit inside the frame rails. If you accidentally move them you may then be forced to remove the front bumper to realign them. The front bumper is actually easy to take off.
