2013 fx4 ecoboost scab rear window stuck open
Not sure if I'm posting this in the correct sub-forum, but here it goes.
I opened my power rear sliding window yesterday afterwork because it was a nice day. When I get home I could not close it. The dome light dims like most things will if you keep trying to open it with it already open but no response whatsoever when trying to close it. From the posts I've read it's most likely the switch going out as this is apparently a common issue with f-series trucks. My question really is do I have any option to get it closed before I have to take it in for repair. Would pulling the fuse and replacing it maybe give it a little jolt just to get it closed. I read some people hitting the motor with a rubber mallet or screwdriver while holding the switch down to close it and it sometimes works. I cannot access the motor as there is apparently no way to fold down the seat backs in the back of a supercab, or at least none that I have come by. Any and all help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
