New to this forum. Getting a clicking/knocking when my truck is in 4x4. Happens mostly in really cold temps (-20 Celsius or colder). Sounds like 4wd is not fully engaging, will get much quieter after driving a mile or so but never completely goes away. Dealership acknowledged there was a problem but is saying it is weather related and doesn't sound like they are willing to do anything about it.

Any thoughts?

Could be IWE's. Mine were noisy last year and have started up again now that it's gotten colder. Probably going to replace them.
