Default 2013 F150 Radiator Fan excessively loud, Cold out

My 2013 F150 with 36k miles now has an excessively loud fan noise. The when the heat is on, even on low the radiator fans are on high and EXTREMELY loud. Sounds like an old whole home fan on. This will happen within seconds of starting up. If I turn off my heat it will cycle down to low after 1 min exactly. So I'm wondering if this is normal behavior, but my fan bearing are getting bad or something. The fans have NEVER been this loud before. This happens second after starting my car when the engine is cold and its 40 degrees outside. Ive had no issues with overheating.

I did notice my coolant reservoir was empty so filled it up to the appropriate level, but didn't fix.

Any thoughts? Wondering it it may be a bad fan clutch.

Got a call that they can hear the problem, but don't know what is causing the noise. No fault codes, no overheating, and "clutch fans aren't seized". They asked to keep it overnight and try again tomorrow.

Documenting because I've see this issue come up multiple times. Example of another guy with the issue

Amazing they can't figure it out.

Default Any updates?

I'm curious if they ever figured this out? I have the same issue. 2012 Ecoboost. Was overheating due to failed water pump which was replaced. Fan continues to run excessively and very very loud almost all of the time. Seems to turn off if I accelerate up a hill, but otherwise seems to run non stop after engine temps reach goal. Even going 50-55 on highway in 20 degrees.

I have a 2012 F150, that was doing what you described and I put a new AC Transducer switch on it and that cured the problem.
