I have a 2012 F-150 Platinum with 84,000 miles on it. Recently I have noticed the transmission holding on to the gears longer than usual. Going from 3rd to 4th is hit or miss sometimes it holds on, sometimes its smooth. Going from 5th to 6th causes it to hold on 90% of the time. I have to take my foot off the accelerator about 50% for the gears to shift. Also, while going through town it takes it forever to cycle through all of the gears. When it does eventually reach 6th, it tends to downshift if I go up any sort of grade. I am getting the transmission fluid flushed Monday to see if that makes any change. Any advice or input?
