2011 V6 F150 Stiff Steering
No error codes. I'm noticing that the power steering is intermittently stiff/choppy. When driving, it will not revert back to center like it normally would (not smooth).
This is the year they started with electronic power steering. Is there any troubleshooting I can do on my own? Vehicle is stored outside.

I have encountered the same issue on my 2011 SCREW cab V-6 EcoBoost. It seems to happen more right after I have hauled something on my utility trailer or have made a very sharp turn and bottomed out the steering wheel but sometimes it just happens all by itself. Almost like the power steering quits or is only half working. Wheel sticks and won't come back to center.
