My recirculated air is not working on my 2011 eco 4x4. The light is on but the vent door is not closing. Can some one tell me where the this door is located and how to fix it. All I can find on the Internet is the location of the blend door.

2011 was major for engines, but I would doubt that the workings of the climate control subsystem changed much if any from 2010, someone else may actually know.


For 2010 (possibly 2011 also):


Air Inlet Door may be accessed behind junction box cover (pass footwell RH), held in place by 3 fasteners.


Betw pins 1 & 6 on the actuator should measure ~54-91 ohms.


Recirc'd air used when HVAC is in MAX A/C mode, and accessed in any mode except DEFROST (manual units).


Recirc'd air when RECIRC mode is selected in any mode other than DEFROST, or when needed during auto ops for max cooling needs (dual-zone electronic units)

Is there a diagram or pictures to show where this is? I cannot find the inlet. I have 2009 and the outside air cut off is not working in any setting. how do you get behind the junction box?
