2011 F150 Serpentine Belts
Hi guys -
I am just doing my 100,000 mile service, so I changed the Spark Plugs, Air Filter, brake pads, differential oil, etc., but how in the world do I change the front serpentine belt? There doesn't appear to be a tensioner, and the front pulley has such a deep groove on it that I doubt I could 'stretch' it on like changing a bicycle chain front sprocket. Any experience here?

They are called stretch belts. Did one on my wife's Mercury Mariner water pump. On her's the pulley driven by the cam had holes in it. Cut the old belt off. Started the new belt on the large pulley, used a tyrap through one of the holes to keep it in the grooves. Just crank it around on the crankshaft pulley till it seats. In your case go to Rock Auto, they will have the belt and any tooling you need to install it. Believe me it is not hard to do.
