2010 Ford F150 King Ranch 5.4L Radiator Flush?
My owner's manual says at 105k it needs to be serviced. However, I can't find a petcock to drain and service the radiator. Is this something the dealer has to do? How would one go about changing the radiator fluid on this model? There is no drain valve.
So, ....
1. Can you change the radiator fluid?
2. If you can change the fluid. Do you change the thermostat as well?
3. Any suggestions on where to find a DYI? Youtube has videos but they are are all late model 5.4L radiator flushes and not anything like my engine.
Thank you so much in advance,
TexasDude

Im sure you probably got it figured out by now but, Just pull off the lower radiator hose to drain the coolant. You will get some coolant from the block draining out as well.

Remove the T-Stat during the flush and install a new one after.. Don’t forget to turn your heat one during the flush to get the fluid out of the heater core...
