Recently had an issue with the drivers side rear door lock not working. Checked for power and found I had power so I changed out the door latch mechanism. Same problem only worse now. The display in dash says that the door is open now. Checked further into the wiring and found that all wires except 3 were broken at the hinge point. Just an FYI for those with a similar problem

do you have any pictures by chance? this way i can attack the problem quickly as mine is a work truck.
