Default 2009 bigger brakes

Howdy, any ideas on replacing brakes on a 2009 SX? I need bigger brakes! Thanks, Santa Lee

I need to replace mine as well. Looking at the PowerStop Z-23 set: http://www.powerstop.com/product/pow...4WD&ss=6%20Lug
I know nothing about them, this is just what has been popping up on my searches. Any input on these or other (hopefully less expensive) rotor and pad sets?

How about brakes from a F250? They should be bigger.

You don't necessarily need to go with bigger brakes on the truck. If you're looking to improve the braking performance on the truck, I recommend upgrading the rotors to slotted only or drilled & slotted along with the brake pads such as Hawk LTS or EBC Greenstuff. Ceramic pads are only great for anyone looking to reduce the brake dust. They don't perform and brake well compared to a semi-metallic brake pad since they're a softer compound.

^^^ BOOM ^^^

I went with slotted rotors, green stuff pads and steel braided lines. HUGE improvement over stock and I'm running 37s.

Put the Powerstop brake pads/rotors on my truck a while back, and honestly, I don't notice any difference from stock....got the slotted rotors too.

I was wondering about that. I assumed a larger braking surface would be the best option.
