Default 2009 5.4 coolant?

So I bought the truck at 52k and now have 83k on it, the coolant is looking pretty bad so I'm going to do a flush but having owned a 6.uh-oh I know how inadequate the Motorcraft premium gold really is. I work at a peterbilt dealership so I have easy access to Cat elc and fleetguard es complete (oat) but I'm wondering if either of them are good for the 3v 5.4. What is everyone else using?

I'm not sure how looking at the coolant tells you it's bad. If it's 2 years old, change it. Factory coolant is gold in color and looks like it's rusty water. If you want to test it, buy a cheap hydrometer to check acid content. I've use Prestone universal for 25 years in all of my trucks and never had a radiator failure. If the CAT antifreeze meets the Ford spec, use it. Good luck
