2008 f150 issue
I found this site an thought id give it a try for an issue that I am having.
F150 2008 5.4l Lariat
Runs fine until i slow down to a stop and in drive still,
then it runs really rough and make some sputtering noises.
If I hit the gas and the rpm's get up it just goes away and idl's fine.
Seems to do it once its warmed up.
Seems like it is starting to do it a bit more now so time to get it fixed I guess.
Took it in to a garage already to look at it but of course when it was there it ran fine.
I’m just looking for suggestions as to where to start looking
Any help would be great
Thanks
Trevor

Cycle For Fun and Health
Could be the FPDM (fuel pump drive module located above your spare tire.
Look here - https://www.f150forum.com/f4/truck-s...module-207202/
Next possibilities:
Fuel filter
Spark plugs
Dirty MAF

well TY I will have a look at that thread
The more and more searching I do, It could be the coils & plugs as well.
Going to h ave a look at the FPDM tonight and go from there

Well I changed the FPDM and didn’t fix my problem
I’m glad I did because it looked like it needed to be changed; it was corroded and had a 1/8 inch gap that was open from corrosion
I guess ill look at the coil’s next
Maybe clean my MAF first as well
