Default 2008 5.4L 3v plugs and coils?

Just wanting to clarify: My 2008 has a build date on the head of 23/11/07 and the coil boots are brown and marked 8L3E.

So, mine has the redesigned heads and 1 piece plugs, SP-509 for the plugs?

You are correct. I mistakenly bought the previous plugs when I did mine. No Lisle tool needed luckily

I swapped the plugs on Friday. SP-509.....much easier!

Much easier than what? I have a early build 07 and SP-515 and changed them out at 113K with no issues.

So many horror stories about the 515 plugs. I'm glad I don't have to deal with it.

You having no issues is the minority.
