Default 2006 ford f150 p0622 p0345 p0349

I have a 2006 ford f150. It seems to have a rough idle when it's warm and wants to stall when I'm coming to a stop. When it stalls I can crank it back over but I have to give it gas so it stays a live. Now, my battery light is on as well. My question is, the p0622 code, could a faulty alt or weak battery cause my f150 to act up like this?

A battery light indicates a problem with the alternator connections, or alternator itself.

I know, but could that make my truck act up like it is?

DTC Definition:
P0622 - Generator Field Not Switching

Possible Causes:
- Generator circuit short to ground.
- Generator circuit short to voltage.
- Generator circuit open.
- Battery-sense circuit open.
- Generator drive mechanism. (belt)
- Damaged generator/regulator assembly.
- Damaged PCM.

I search code in this app

I found the codes, I'm just wondering if this could be why my truck is acting the way it is.

Hi toshortofnam,
Do you have IDS VCM?
If you have Run Charging System Diagnostic.
When IDS will check and show issue for you.

I know. I'm literally just wondering one thing. Can a faulty alternator and or battery cause a truck to act up? That's what I want to know. I know what the codes mean. Will the alternator being bad or the battery being bad explain why my truck is acting the way it is??

If your battery light is on you have charging system problems. Fix that and see what happens.
