Hey guys,
I searched and searched last night for several hours so I wouldn't post a problem someone already had. Whenever I try to use my A/c
I got the 1299 error code today "Cylinder head over-temperature protection active"
It gave me 3 possible Reasons.
1. Coolant was low
2. Drive Belt Off
3. Failed cylinder head temperature sensor
I flushed and used a radiator cleaner and put new coolant mixture in.
I also bought the R 140 or the A/C DIY stuff. How can I go about checking the other two? Engine Noob here but have a good general technical skill. Help, thanks!
