I can't get the spare tire key to turn the lock and let it down. Anyone have any ideas how I can get it to turn? I can see in the tube and it looks like it may be rusted or broken. I have had it down one time a few years ago.

Not sure about your 2003 but on my 2005 you can get to the back of the lock assembly from behind the bumper. Just spray the hell out of the lock assembly with Wd-40 or something similar. I like to use "fluid film" on mine once a year.

Mine has a hole and a tube with the lock head down above the tire. It used a kind of tire lock to turn it. So it's not an ignition key style.

A lot of guys get a unit that has no special key, cut the tire down by cutting the cable and replace the whole unit that's not keyed.
