Default 2001 Supercrew Lariat cruise control not working

To start off I had a few bugs on my new to me F150... have fixed almost everything but the cruise control and that is a big deal to me I use it a lot.

At first, both my horn and cruise were not working. While messing around trying to fix the fog lights(which I did fix) I noticed that there was no relay where the horn relay should be under the hood. I took out the fog relay and put it in the horn, and wahlah, horn worked as it should. Went to O'reilly's and they wanted 40 DOLLARS for that little relay. No thanks I'll try to find one in a junk yard for that.

I would think that since most of the time people with bad clock springs have both horn AND cruise not working, that might not be the problem.

I did notice my 3rd brake light is out, pulled it off, and sure enough the bulb is blown. I put a new one in, and the light still did not work so I'm not sure what the problem is there. I read that if one or two of the brake lights don't work that it could cause the cruise not to work as well, though that could be just for the rear 2 brake lights. BTW the 2 white lights on each side of the 3rd brake light DO work.

I tried the diagnostic for the cruise, and when I hold down "off" and turn the key, the cruise light lights up as it should, then after I press the "on" button within 5 seconds, it does NOT light up, same with RES,Coast, and Set, it only lights up after I press off. This leads me to believe that maybe the "on" button itself is messed up.

It has had the recall done as there is the new harness, and it does not look like the fluid has leaked making it go bad, but who knows. I tried jumping the old harness with a paperclip, went for a drive and the cruise still did not work. Even the diagnostic still wouldn't work.

This is driving me insane and it's one of the last pieces of the puzzle to fixing the little bugs 100% so any help is greatly appreciated!

Got my 3rd brake light working now and still no cruise. Could the abs light on have something to do with it? My abs pump is unplugged under the hood because when it's plugged up it runs continuously. I plugged it back up and let it run and tried cruise diagnostic again and the light still didn't blink after I pressed "on"
