I was driving about 50 MPH and the service engine light soon started flashing. The A/C stopped blowing cold. I turned off the A/C and the light went off. Got home, turned the truck off. Turned it back on - the A/C worked fine and light didn't come on, but it was just in idle.

I am about two months into a rebuilt transmission.

Should I take the truck to have the codes read or just wait until Monday and take it to my mechanic?
