Default 2001 F-150 Speed Control Deactivation Switch Replacement

I've got the part (It was already done after the recall, but my switch is leaking on the master cylinder so my cruise control stopped working). This looks like the easiest job in the world, but I know next to jack-all about brakes.

Do I need to bleed the brake lines after I replace the switch?

Thanks

Remove the brake pressure switch and replace it but don't tighten fully, have another person slightly depress the brake peddle until you see fluid seeping out around the threads and tighten it down. Top off with fluid.

I went ahead and did it because I read somewhere there was a schraeder valve in the unit. Fluid did seep out as I replaced the switch. Drove around the block. Issue is fixed and brakes seem to work just as well as before. Am I in the clear?
