2000 Ford F150 Kilometer reading not working

The Kilometer reading is not working properly on my 2000 Ford F150. It works fine when i first start the truck it works fine but after a while it just turns off. Does anyone know what this problem might be?

Does it come back on if you smack the dash above the cluster? If so loss solder in cluster, very common issue in these clusters.
