2000 F 150 Won't Start Unless Doors Are Unlocked
I just bought a 2000 F 150 and had a reputable shop get it to pass state safety inspection to get it on the road. The radio didn't work but found out the fuse was removed so I put in a new one. Now the truck won't start unless you press the unlock button on the remote. Put the key in the ignition and it starts up fine. Battery, starter, solenoid, and relay are good. Also, the odometer is now intermittent.
Why would I have to press the unlock button on the remote to allow the start curcuit to work?
