I'm shure its a problem with somthing in the fuel system I was going down the road and it started acting as if it was out of gas so I switch to the other tank and it still was act if it was out of gas and stalled so I coasted to the side of the road and tryed to start it switching from tank to tank it turns over but dosnt start i can hear the pump runing but it dosnt stop people tell me it the pump that isnt working and others say its the relay switch its done this before when one of my friends drove it but it started the next day and that was about 2 weeks ago how can I tell if its the pump or the relay it self and if so where is the relay?

thanks

If you hear the pump running then the relay is fine. Your truck has 3 fuel pumps, one in each tank and one on the frame. Since the truck won't run on either tank then make sure the frame mounted pump is coming on too.

is it carb or injected im asumeing injected check to see if you have pressure and if you do could have gotten junk in one of the fuel injectors that is if it is a fuel problem there could be a lot wrong but you have to eliminate some of the main problems fuel spark compression and timming
